When I first decided to create my website, I couldn't decide what to name it. I didn't want a common name, I wanted my site to be distinguishable from other blogs. I decided to use a word I had seen that stood out to me. One day, while I was reading a novel from a Scottish author, I ran into the word "aze." I had never heard of it, so I decided to look it up. When I searched its meaning, I discovered that aze is Scottish slang for "a blazing fire." I knew immediately that this would be what I'd name my site. What better word to describe my passion for literature and writing?
When family and friends ask my why I was so keen on starting a blog, I give them all the same answer. Reading fiction brings me genuine happiness, and I want to share that happiness with others. Whenever I start a book I devour it. Before I've finished it, I've already decided what I'll read next.
Even though I love books and reading, I began to realize that I could expand on the joy it brings me. I wanted to share this passion with other readers. I wanted to create a forum where I could share my thoughts and ideas. Creating this blog has allowed people to get to know me, but I hope that in the future, I'll use this platform to connect with other readers. I want AZE to be a place where readers can share books they've enjoyed, their favorite authors, and discuss their opinions on other significant topics. I encourage everyone who reads AZE to share their thoughts with me and other viewers through the comment section. Let's start a conversation and build something great.
