Hello book lovers!
Today, I'm back with a book review...
Hickory Dickory Dock (Hercule Poirot #32) by Agatha Christie
When a kleptomaniac outbreak takes a student hostel, Hercule Poirot is incredibly intrigued. Usually, he wouldn't pay interest to these sort of crimes, but the list of items appears so peculiar that the detective is eager to investigate. Poirot can't help but wonder: "if this is merely the work of a petty thief, why is everyone so afraid?"
WOOHOO! This is one of the good ones!!! While this is considered a classic detective mystery, Hickory Dickory Dock read like a classic thriller. I devoured this novel so quickly solely because I had to know what would happen next. "Is he the killer?" "Is she the killer?" "Who will be next?" "What is she/he hiding?" I NEED ANSWERS...
The writing in this novel and the plot itself are exceptional. I felt on edge the entire time. While not every single character is memorable (there are a lot to keep track of), there are a handful who are extremely distinctive and unique. Their actions and dialogues will leave you with goosebumps. If you're interested in classic mysteries and thrillers, check out this read!
